Tahquamenon Area Schools(TAS) is located in Newberry, Michigan. Part of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District (E.U.P.I.S.D.), TAS is geographically, the largest school district east of the Mississippi River covering, 1,524 square miles. The district is home to one K-12 school, Newberry Area School. Student enrollment is approximately 600. Transportation is provided by the district to all students who live outside the village of Newberry.
