The C.A.M.P. (Counseling and Medical Place) is a school-based health center provides medical and mental health services for all students age 5-21 . The CAMP is conveniently located in the 5/6 hallway in room 137. This makes it easy for students to access health services without having to leave the building.
The Counseling And Medical Place is a grant funded program and is a division of LMAS District Health Department.
The CA.M.P. provides medical services for acute illnesses (ear aches, sore throat, non-emergent injuries), chronic conditions, concussion vital signs, well child exams, sport physicals, immunizations, as well as asthma, diabetes & weight management through Laura Gribbell, FNP. Laura is in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
Therapy appointments are available Monday-Friday for anxiety, depression, anger management, academic concerns, grief & loss, self esteem, family or relationship issues through Michelle Curtis-Nutkins.
Services at The CAMP are designed for all students ages 5 -21. We are here for those who have any type of insurance, those who are under-insured, & those who have no insurance. Please ask if you need assistance, whether you need help with private insurance, MI Child or Medicaid. No student will ever be turned away due to lack of insurance.

If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign a consent form. These can be found at the CAMP, or you can call 293-3226 Ext 1427 and request to have one sent home via backpack, email or mail.
*The CAMP will NOT prescribe or dispense any contraception or birth control of any kind.
