Ms. Kellogg's First Graders enjoyed a trip to Ice Cream Bandits today to celebrate a great school year!

If your child is participating in the Newberry Youth Football Camp taking place this week after school, PARENTS will need to CALL THE SCHOOL to change your child's dismissal plan before 2pm today. Thank you!

Our class created lovely Memory books. These will go home soon for you and your child to enjoy. We also participated in our last Pride Palooza (a time to celebrate monthly successes) and celebrated a sweet girl's summer birthday.

Ms. Derusha's class is full of #proudauthors. We have been working so hard on our Kindergarten Kindness book and it is finally published!

Congratulations to the Boys for bringing UP champs and for the Girls being runner ups.

Congratulations to these kindergarten students! They worked hard to learn their k level sight words and to celebrate, we had a delicious ice cream treat. Yum! 😋

Are "U" wondering what we did for countdown today? Here are a few cute coloring contest winners and delightful directed drawings.

ABC Countdown continues in Mrs. Browning's class ... S is for Strawberry flavored slushy, T for T-Shirts and a "toothy" book. Also some great opinion piece writers, Number Club addition and Poetry Notebooks. Lots more learning on the way!

Class of 2024

Second graders are SUPERKIDS! We dressed as our favorite Superkid and had an "Ultimate Superkids Challenge" today!

Ms. Derusha's Kinders did some dandelion art today!

ABC Countdown in Mrs. Browning's room has been enjoyed by the Kinders. Letter Q had us learning "quietly" with everyone whispering for the first two hours of our Wednesday and we spent extra daily "Reading" time today. We know how important it is to have our eyes on print.

The elementary field day's that were tentatively scheduled for May 29 and May 30 are cancelled due to some unexpected scheduling conflicts.

Congratulations, Maddy on completing the 40 Book Challenge! Keep up the great work!!

So very proud of these Kinders!! Quest High scores, 100s Club, 200s Club members and mini meteorologists. We have been studying about weather and made windsocks to gauge the wind's direction.
