March is Reading Month activities are going well. Coloring Contest pictures displayed, yummy picnic lunch enjoyed and many classroom doors are looking great! Mrs. B's class read 135 books this past week! 😳

A little Dance Party Fun! Mrs. Browning's kinders earned 30 marbles (team work) and were able to vote for a fun activity. Majority chose to dance. 😊 We love Danny Go! and Go Noodle!






Come out and cheer on the Lady Indians tomorrow night at home! We play Munising in the District Championship game. Tip off is at 6:00. Let's pack the gym! They have worked hard to get here!

Second graders are working on a Famous American project. Students are learning facts, and creating a life size paper cut-out of their person. Next week, they'll open their Famous American Museum! 🇺🇸










Way to go Lady Indians!! Winning over Bay De Noc tonight!!!! They will play Friday night at home against Munising.

Congratulations to the February Challenge Board winners: Mrs. Sparks 3rd/4th grade Homeroom and the entire 5th/6th grade! Ms. Kelly's challenge board was on conflict resolution. Shout out to Sugar Daddy's Bakery for the special order treats as a reward.



Mrs. Vincent's first grade had a hot chocolate day last Friday. Students enjoyed doing math, reading, writing, and making art projects using the theme of hot chocolate. The best part was wearing pajamas and drinking hot chocolate with all the toppings!










Huge Thank You to Mr. Parr for setting up this tour for our kids!! Mr. Jordan and Mr. Parr's Geometry in Construction (GiC) class and Mr. Parr's Construction tech class got to have a special INSIDE tour of the Soo Locks. Absolutely Amazing!! Plus, full of post-secondary information for our kids!!







UP 4-H Camp
🏕️Registration is now open for U.P. 4-H Camp! All youth ages 9-13 (on Jan. 1, 2024; counselors ages 15-19) are invited to join us at camp this summer. The camper registration fee is $115 through May 15 and $135 from May 16-June 21.
