The Newberry High School Football program along with our Luce County Veterans Office will be sponsoring a Patriot Game to honor our veterans on Friday, October 7. T-shirts are available at the Luce County Veterans Office for $10 and will also be on sale at the High School - dates to be announced soon.

ATTENTION K-6 PARENTS: We need your help! When sending in cold lunch, please consider practicing opening packages and microwaving items at home before sending them to school. Due to having to wait for adult help and our limited staff, some students are struggling to get their lunch open or heated during lunch time. Thank you for your help!

The sixth graders took a trip to the library. Ross provided a wonderful lesson on different genres and a selection of books to choose from. We learned the characteristics of memoirs, biographies, poetry, and traditional literature/classics.
