Congratulations to the Newberry HS Band on their Division II “Superior”rating at District Band Festival yesterday!😊

Students in Ms. Kellogg’s First Grade celebrated the 100th day of school! They made crowns to wear that said “100 days smarter”, and did numerous fun activities that focused on the number 100. They wrote about what they would buy if they had 100 dollars and flipped a penny 100 times to keep track of how many times they landed on heads or tails. Then they wrote the matching equation. It was a fun filled 100th day!

We will have mental health professionals available onsite in the building during the school day to meet with students individually or in groups as they process the loss of their school mate. Please reach out if you have concerns and believe your child needs additional support at school.

In Mrs. Price's fifth grade classroom, Motivational Monday took a new twist with students writing motivational and affirming messages to each other. The messages students wrote each other were wonderful, like 'follow your dreams'. Way to go fifth graders!
