Due to illness/shortness of staff Tahquamenon Area Schools will be closed on Monday, Oct. 25, 2021. School will resume Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021.

This year's parade will take place on Friday, October 29.
The parade will start at 1:45pm.
There will be NO PARKING in the front loop of the school. You can park on M123/Newberry Avenue or out in the back of the school where dismissal occurs. You will not be allowed to walk through the school to get out front after the parade.
Parade Route:
- Depart from the FRONT of the school
- Head North on M123
- Turn LEFT on W. Truman
- Cut through HNJH parking lot on the East side to walk past Golden Leaves cafeteria windows so the residents can watch the parade.
- Head East on Harrie Street
- Turn RIGHT on Robinson Street heading South
- Cross McMillan Ave and enter the playground through the Northwest gate.
Parade will end on the playground. Teachers and students will gather at their grade level cone. IF you would like to take your child home after the parade and not wait until dismissal you will need to sign your child our WITH THEIR HOMEROOM TEACHER on the playground. In an effort to keep order and keep all students safe, please wait in the designated parent area for your child's homeroom teacher to dismiss your child to you.
Due to the increase in COVID cases we are limiting access to the inside of the building. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
If the weather does not cooperate a message will be sent out with alternate parade plans.

UP FINALS D3
1st and 5th place finish!
Congratulations Kaylen Clark and Jorja Suriano.

Local Opportunity

Every third week of LBC, the students are given a challenge. This past week’s challenge was to build a 4” tower or building with at least one window or door opening. Most of the students were able to meet the challenge.

Tahquamenon Area Schools has a bond proposal on the Tuesday, November 2, 2021 ballot.
