March is Reading Month!! We are excited about our weekly book bags knowing these will get us closer to our individual and class goals. One School, One Book is a delightful Humphrey book. Each child will receive a book and Family Fun Pack to be enjoyed at home. We will also be reading this book in class. Thanks to Mr. Kitzman for the cute skit introducing our book and Ms. Bongard for coordinating this wonderful opportunity.
Lego Club is always a fun time. Last week the club members were tasked with freeing a Lego person from a frozen pond. The catch: they were only given a few select items to use. All were successful. This week was free play, adding onto their existing structures as well as creating some pieces of machinery.

The District Boys Basketball Final scheduled for tonight, Friday, February 28th, is CANCELLED and rescheduled for tomorrow, March 1st, at 6:00pm.
Tahquamenon Area School will be closed on Friday, February 28, 2025 due to forcasted weather and storm conditions. Stay safe. Information about the Boys District game will be shared later today.

Congratulations to our Varsity Boys basketball team for winning tonight against Rudyard in district play. They will be playing Brimley next. GO INDIANS!!!!!

Ms. Pavey has chosen Bryce Kangas to be this week's student of the week. Bryce is a very hardworking student and comes to class everyday with a great attitude! Bryce does his best with everything he does, and does it all with a smile on his face. He is a wonderful friend to his peers, as well. In school, Bryce loves to play with cars and look at the salmon in the fish tank. At home, he loves to play outside with his family. Thank you, Bryce, for always being responsible, friendly, and ready to learn!
