Haunted School: Saturday, Oct. 26. Small scares are from 6 to 8 and big scares are from 9 to 11 and it's five dollars entry.

Second graders have been busy! We had more students join our "1000s Club", we wrapped up our letter writing unit with mailing letters home to our families, painted pumpkins that were donated to our class by Yooper Youth, and added our classwork to our hallway for a festive look! 🎃👻✏️📫

Patterning, bat craft and painting our journal covers were the order of the day in kindergarten.

Fun Friday in Kindergarten creating monsters using our fine motor skills! 😈👀

Mava Yenna is a 6th grade student at Newberry who has been selected as this week’s Student of the Week by Mrs. Frank. She is in Mrs. Franks’ homeroom for science and social studies. Mava is an excellent student, working hard academically to reach our class goals. She is always polite and respectful to staff and students and makes friends easily. Through school work and friendships her positive attitude and cheerful personality are always highlighted in the choices she makes and the interactions she has. It has been a pleasure to have Mava in 6th grade, and I’m excited to continue this year with her!
