Mrs. Burbach has chosen Henry Weaver as the Newberry K-6 student of the week. He is in Mrs. Burbach's Developmental Kindergarten class. He is the son of Pam Bowler and grandson of Michelle and Carl. Henry always comes to school prepared and ready to learn. He strives to do his best. He is a great helper in the classroom and always willing to help his peers. Henry is five years old and his favorite part of school is recess, snack time, Legos and Number Corner. His favorite foods are hotdogs, pizza and noodles. He enjoys playing outside with his friends. I have seen huge changes in Henry since the beginning of the year and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Congratulations Henry!
Spelling patterns and sight word practice in shaving cream was a hit in second grade today!

Grade 7-12 Student of the Week
Mr. Frank selected Peyton Allen as student of the week. She is the daughter of
Christina Allen and Michael Buschert. Peyton is always trying to put her best
effort in during our class time. She is one of the first to have her hand raised and share her thoughts. Not only does this show effort, but also leadership. When Peyton is at school, both inside and outside of class time, she is polite and uses manners which speaks volume about her character. Peyton is great to have in class, whether it be a hands-on task like an experiment, or bookwork because she is always determined to do the best. Finally, Peyton Allen is someone that brings good, positive, fun energy with her and makes our classroom a better place because of it. Congratulations Peyton.
